Hi guys,

Whenever i start my Jeep on an incline, it doesnt start up.

It happened first during off-roading and the jeep guys who i was with said that everything is good (checked the battery, fuse and gas). From what it looked like, it feels like the engine is not getting enough gas (because I'm on the incline)? I have a full tank of gas too. So i rolled down the hill on a flat surface, pumped the gas pedal while its off, turn the keys on....and it started. Im able to drive on a incline too while its running. So idk why it wont start whenever im on an incline

Anyone has any idea why?

I’d look hard at the fuel pump. Sounds like it is bleeding the pressure off the line when off. Ideally, it would be hard to start no matter the inclination but maybe yours is just starting to go.

Next time on the hill - try to power cycle the key a few times before trying to start. If it works, definitely a bad fuel pump

Get a fuel pressure test done off the fuel rail.
Check the 3 min leak down test as well.
