thats why i quoted tom regarding the 5" bs

the margin of grace with a 5" bs and 30"x8.5" tires and 2" lift is about 3/8th an inch
moved outwards an inch (4" bs) and with a street profile A/P tire (michelin m/s AT+4 etc) its about negative 3/16th" clearance at the pinch and negative 2/3rds an inch at the fog light access area of the fender liner and when fully stuffed the flares are in the way by about the same amount, 2/3rds an inch, which is enough to pop the fasteners

and that's with a clean tire , not gooped by mud or snow

that said, if you come across wheels that are 4.5" bs or 4.75 they'll likely work better, that last 1/2" outward makes a big difference when the wheels are turned about halfway to lock or full lock
