Al-J upper arms?

I've seen these on the site and I've seen them mentioned... What do these do... what is the benefit to swapping these out when doing a lift and installing these aftermarket arms. Do these not contact the spring at full droop? Just curious since I'm new to this...

Al's arms are longer then OEM one's so it's easier to get the KJ back into alignment,also they have replacable/greasable balljoints.They will get rid of the a-arm to spring contact since they extend father out from the vehicle,at least mine don't hit anymore(got about 3/8" space between a-arm and spring at full droop).
