I went with the 7 pin harness on the Liberty as my trailer requires it, and a seperate 4-pin adapter, they seem to be readily available and inexpensive.

The advantage is I can tow most trailers without worrying about whether I have the right hookup.

I'd go with the 7-pin if it's not much more money!

Of course, brakes also require a brake controller which you could add on later.

Went to order some stuff from etrailer myself. Did you end up ordering from them and get a coupon code? Doesn't anyone have a coupon code?! I am ordering 300+ worth of stuff so it would actually be worth using one. Por Favor.

The heavy duty cooling option doesn't have a transmission cooler? What kind of crap is that?
