Hello all, newbie here. I bought a 2002 Liberty sport a month ago and I've searched but can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for. I bought a 20" LED light bar and I'm planning on mounting it to the front bumper, that part I've got covered, but what I'm wondering is, is there a hole in the firewall that I can run the wireing thru or do I have to make my on access hole? Most of the other vehicals I've modified have had at least one unused access hole to run wires thru. I just don't want to start drilling holes if I don't need to. Any help in the matter is greatly appreciated, thanks.

drivers side , theres a hole with other wiring, can run through there

What Tom said.

It's easier to see the access from inside, above and to the left of the brake pedal. The mess of wires is about 1 inch in diameter and runs through a rubber gasket. Use a metal coat hanger or other such probe and punch a hole through it (or if you're lucky you'll be able to go between the wires and the edge of the gasket.) It will come out below the power brake assembly - from there you're right next to the battery and a spot to mount the relay for the light bar.

A really handy tool for going through the bung plug is a short piece of steel brake line, or small steel fuel line. Cut and sharpen one end much like a hypodermic needle. Pierce the rubber with the sharpened end, run your wire through the steel tubing, then pull the tubing through from the other side (then remove tubing for next time). Wire is through the rubber with minimal damage to either. You can even put a light coat of sealant on wire just short of it's final placement to seal the puncture.

Any info on how you mounted the light bar to the bumper? Is it secure enough not to be bouncy when using it?
