Hi,
I was wondering if there is any way of disabling the A/C during the winter months. The clutch engages on my 2007 Liberty when the cabin dial setting is on the rightmost three. (i.e. floor, bi-mix and windshield defroster).

I'm afraid just pulling the fuse may screw up the electronics.

Thanks!

i believe you can run a shorter belt to bypass the AC compressor.
Hopefully those who have used one would chime in.

Could just disconnect the wiring harness on the compressor. Clutch shouldn't engage then.

But yeah you can also run a shorter belt too.
