2wd JK with a Trail Rated badge***pics***???

I was at car max the other day lookin' around when I found this JK. I really liked seeing the badge, because it meant I could look at it, but I look inside and no 4wd shifter.. The nerve of some people(blarg).

A 2wd Jeep.
Talk about an oxymoron

Agree....especially in a wrangler. It should be against the law or something to make a 2wd wrangler....and to put a trail rated badge on a 2wd jeep is just vandalism.

I'll bet they couldn't sell any model 2wd jeep up here..

2wd 4 door JK's
we even get dirty looks from them when we are driving in the KJ
all be it the KJ is lifted and on MTR's with a few stickers and a few "trail details"

maybe they know that there 2wd JK is just what the JK stands for

You' re right... I thing I did see the neuter scooter at carmax that day. They must have been doing a good business, a lot of 2wd's. :D

I didn't even know you could get a JK with 2WD.

Not sure how I feel about that...I mean, I fully think ALL Jeeps should have 4 wheel drive. On the other hand, you have to consider how much it's either helped or hurt their sales. Die hard Jeepers will still buy the 4x4 JK, and possibly some people who wouldn't have bought a 4x4 got it just because it's a 2wd.

Just like some people really hated the 4 door JK, I think from the number of them on the road it's safe to say it was a successful idea. Jeep managed to hold onto customers who couldn't deal with a 2 door.

In these economic conditions, I can't blame them one bit for doing what's necessary to survive.

As far as the Trail Rated badge, that's just a joke. I think it meant something 5 years ago, but it seems anything is Trail Rated now. Heck, I actually removed it from my KJ because I think it looks better without it.

I don't think there is a trail rated badge that says 4x2. I've never for seem for sale at least.

speaking of the 4X2 I remember when ford for a few years would put 4x2 or 2x4 logos on the back of the 2wd F150s. never under stood it really.
