I have a 2002 Jeep liberty limited with a 3.7L V6. The negative battery cable attached to the battery harness, that leads to the battery, engine fuse panel and alternator (Part # 56044121 AJ) snapped in 2 and I was able to sauter it back together and all is good. But I want to throw a new one on there soon. I've called my local Jeep parts department and it is discontinued. I've done some snooping on the wholesale websites and have found that the 2003 battery harness ( Part # 56044501 AG) is not discontinued. I called the parts department again to see if they are the same thing and they can not confirm. HELP! Does anyone know if these two harnesses are the same thing, just 2 different part numbers? I know that some people can get the same part for a different year model and all is good.
