15x8 with 4.5" BS

Hi guys,
I'm contemplating getting some steel rims and after doing some searching here, I was gonna go for 15x7" with 4" BS.
A local dealer only has 15x8 with ET0. According to this chart, that's 4.5" BS

So compared to my current 16x7 rims, those steelies would only stick out 1" more than stock, right? That should be ok with no lift, right? Same as 15x7 with 4" BS

I plan to fit 30x9.5 tyres.

You will rub like crazy as those 15x8's with 4.5" of BS will stick out almost 2" farther then the OE rims will and 1/2" farther then 15x7's with 4" of BS.

ah doh - I obviously miscalculated.

the dealer did say the following, which I've never heard about:
"If I am not mistaken the Jeep has lock stops fitted to the steering and these are adjustable to prevent the tyres from touching on full turn."

Any truth to that?

No steering stops on a KJ,the R&P steering gear does that and is not adjustable.
