'07 Headlights spider cracking...any recourse?

The headlights on SWMBO's '07 Liberty have tons of small spider cracks. Is this normal, and is there any recourse about it? Looks lousy and I'm sure it refracts the light, admittedly not that much at this point, I'd wager.

Buy new headlight housings,no fixing the cracks.
