Check your fuses, I read somebodys post where his phone charger kept blowing his fuse.

Don't have my manual handy, but it'll be detailed in the manual. Your manual should be in the glove compartment in a slot above the drop-down drawer.

The physical location of the fuses is on the side panel to the dash by the driver's left knee.

Be careful with the 04 manual. Mine didnt have the right fuse diagram in in, makes finding fuses kinda hard.

The fuse box if on the left side of the dash. open the door and pull the cover off.

If youre use to working on those disposable cars then it would be time to get rid of it. They have a short life span of a few years. :D

Hey, be nice. I love the hell outta my Jeep, but I also love my Toyota. That 'disposable' car has nearly 250,000 miles on it with little more than basic maintenance-- oil changes and the like. Put some new tires on it, switched out a clutch about a year ago. Had some head gaskets replaced around 150,000.

Yes, it now has a lot of little things wrong with it and would be difficult to sell for any real money, but when you calculate out the cost of ownership, potential car payments etc., the value of that car has been unprecedented. Especially considering I bought it used. If my Jeep does anywhere near as well, I'll be mightily impressed.

I hope you are kidding, my Honda accord has 412K on it with no major problems.

Seems to be a hell of alot more reliable then the Liberty so far...

Ohh, I was just kidding. Family owns a corolla...

I kinda look at that the other way around. If a toyota could go through the stuff a Jeep does and last as long as my jeep then I would care for a toyota/foreign car. :)

Southeast of disorder...
In my '03 it's fuse number 1 (same as in Jeepsters' pictures of his manual in the other thread). I verified it by pulling the fuse and checking the LED on the power cord for my GPS which turned off when the fuse was out.

Yea I figured out my owner's manual was worthless.

It was FUSE 3, a 20amp. It was BLOWN. I figured out FUSE 16 ran the power outlet in the back so I pulled it and put it into FUSE 3 for the time being until I can get another 20 amp(fuse 3 and fuse 16 are both 20 amp).

That's why I said I'd be happy if the Jeep does nearly as well. I can't expect a car getting rattled on every trail in the NW to last as long as one that never goes off pavement. :D
