Haynes manual, oil filter, seat belt extension

I have moved on to more Japanese pastures and have a few things left over. My Haynes manual (covers 02-07), an extra oil filter (Motorcraft FL-400s), and a seat belt extender used for when my daughter was in a booster seat (Jeep Seat Belt Extender - Item # 5018505AA, 5086227AA, 5179969AA...

    I have a problem

If you're having Jeep problems, I feel bad for you son. I got 99 problems, but a Wrangler ain't one.

    ....Lug nuts....

Happened to me. Gradually replaced with Gorilla 41187 lug nuts.

Heavier brake dust on one side

My front passenger wheel has noticeably higher brake dust buildup than the driver's side. The Jeep doesn't pull either with or without braking. Both rotors and pads were replaced at the same time with identical brand & models. It's only on the front, not rear. Ideas?

    Oil Leak

If it's not the valve cover gaskets, check to ensure the oil fill tube is tightened appropriately. I just experienced both of these leaks this past year.

    Need to replace a stud

I've got rotors in the rear, not drums. Edit: but yes, I took them off.

    Need to replace a stud

UPDATE: apparently on the KJ (at least the rear wheels), there's a fully circular dust/debris shield that prevents knocking out the studs. There's no access point. Guess I'm paying the dealer...

    Need to replace a stud

Somehow cross threaded a nut and in the process of removing it stripped the lug stud. I searched the "How to" here (came up empty) and on some other sites. Some advise using a BFH, some say not to. Anyone have experience doing this on their Jeep?

    Front end noise?

If you do the sway bar bushings and it still happens, try replacing sway bar end links. I had the exact same problem, swapped out both bushings and end links, perfectly silent over bumps, even in the 20s.

    02 kj sucks in rain

Switched from SR-A (stock) to Yokohama AT-S for a world of difference.

    Liberty Rebuild..ish

If you're planning on doing them yourself, then yes. If you're planning on having a mechanic do it, double that price.

    Leaking water pump

I just re-gasketed the pump with a new one from FelPro. We'll see if that fixes the problem. I'm a bit worried, as when I removed the original one to install a brand new pump, I could tell where the seal had failed on the old one. This time, when I took it off, I couldn't see an obvious point...

    Saturday? Must mean another leak!

I found some via mopar.com for $42. Can't imagine a dealer is cheaper.

    Saturday? Must mean another leak!

FFS! Now it's an engine oil leak. I know this for certain, and THINK I found the source: where the fill tube meets the block. When the mechanic replaced my valve cover gaskets, the kit included a new fill tube gasket, which I assume was replaced as well. If it turns out the filler tube is...

    NOW what's leaking?

It was the seal between the front driveshaft and the differential. $285 later, no (more) ugly oil stains on the driveway.

    NOW what's leaking?

Definitely seems to be dripping from where the front driveshaft connects to the differential housing. The puddle in the driveway didn't evaporate despite 60+, sunny, and windy conditions. Seems like a trip to the professional garage for diagnosis is required.

    NOW what's leaking?

That's the thing, I can't identify it. Feels like some type of oil, doesn't have an identifiable smell, seems colorless.

    Leaking water pump

Which is fine, and apparently what I need to do, but I don't need the condescension when a professionally produced repair manual, as well as other members of this forum say to use RTV.

    NOW what's leaking?

Any idea what is leaking here? It appears to be where the front driveshaft meets the front differential. Any particular seals/gaskets right there, or more likely something bigger? Edit: no idea why my pictures keep getting rotated when I upload

    Leaking water pump

If you read the page on the left side, step 13, it specifies using RTV even with the 3.7L engine.
