Lukewarm heat- Blend door actuator or heater control problem?

I've had my 08 jeep liberty for about 21 months and put about 20,000 miles on it. I have noticed the heat blows just lukewarm air. Coolant levels are fine. Both inlet and outlet hoses to the heater core are warm when run up to temperature. Temperature guage acts normal. I looked at the...

    Automatic hvac controls

I acquired a 2008 jeep liberty sport about 6 months ago. It has manual hvac controls. Is it possible to install automatic hvac controls that you find in the limited models? Does the system have the temperature sensor built into the automatic controls, or is it located somewhere else in the car?

towing a liberty on the ground

I am looking to rent a penske truck in July to move from Pennsylvania to Illinois. I would be interested in towing the Liberty behind the truck on the ground (I have read other posts how it can be done by putting everything in neutral), but wondered what type of equipment would be needed in...

Looking where to find Grabbers or Revo's

I have about 32000 miles on my Libby, and am ready to ditch the badyear tires in favor of some Revo's or Grabbers. Does anybody know where they typically sell these brands in a retail setting? I also have my spare that has never been used and wondered if they would give me a credit for that if...

    Sirius radio issues

I finally got my sirius radio and cd changer installed in my libby. I also gave the stealership one of the artist/title cords because I have an rb1. When I activated my radio, all it says is the channel and nothing else. I'm thinking the stealership installed the wrong wire. Also, the sound...

    Update on auto dim mirror

Ok, I picked up a newer auto dim mirror from a 99 Grand Cherokee (A gentex 187) that has the plug in with the 5 pins. From the previous post, I gather that pin 1 is the fused ignition, pin 2 is ground, pin 3 is for the reverse backup, and pins 4 and 5 are not used because they would be for the...

    Installing an auto dim mirror

I have an '04 Rocky Mountain Liberty with an EVIC and TPMS that I installed. I was able to find an auto dim mirror and pigtail from it for a couple of bucks at a junkyard around home. I need to find out how to wire it up. The connector that plugs into the mirror has 3 wires (Solid purple...

    Tire pressure sensors

Ok, I'm now in the market for the tire pressure sensors and training magnet. Does anybody happen to have the part number for this? Do the sensors just screw onto the valve stems and replace the valve stem covers? (Aeh)

    Auto Dim Mirror

I have my EVIC installed, but.....

Ok, after working on my install for a few hours today, I finally have everything ready. My otis unit from the 04 ram is fully functional (temperature even works, a nice 68 degrees here today in the Lehigh Valley) in my 04 Rocky Mountain Liberty. The only issue that I have is that the unit stays...

Trying to remove Driver's Side Pillar

I'm in the process of installing an otis unit in my '04 Rocky Mountain Edition. I have read how the pillars have torx screws, but when I took my covers off, they were hexnuts instead. I have a hard time getting any of my sockets in there because the hole is not large enough. For the sockets...
