Same problem I HAD!! I cut a piece of foam like a wedge laid it on the seat and covered the front seats with sheepskin covers from sams. Also built a dead pedal. It helps a lot especially on long trips. Have to have the seat all the way back. The foam made the seat flatter, easier to move...

I know this has been discussed a lot on all forums but I would rather post here. What tranny skid do you recommend for the 04? Where do you get it at? How difficult to install, do you get all mounting hardware? I have the mopar skids on now does it interfere with them? thanx Jimm

TSB#-05-001-04 Rear brake moan while applying, or not applying brakes at temps of 50 or colder. TSB replaces rear pads & rotors.

I can't take pictures. A piece of 2X4 about 8" long painted black to match carpet. Used carpet tape to fasten it to the small hump (dead pedal) in carpet.

O:) I made one today. Used a piece of 2X4 painted it black. Stuck on a non slip rubber pad that is used on boat trailers. Stuck it to the floor with carpet tape. Dosen't get in the way of brake or floor mat. Similar to what is in my taurus. I'm happy with it.

They do say it takes about 10 miles for everything to fully warm up. But I guess you can't help that. I used to live 20 miles out of town and my exhaust systems and batterys used to last a long time. Highway miles are sure easier on them.

Put in a can of good injector cleaner a couple times a year. You might get more of that soot or carbon if you do a lot of short trips where it dosn't get hot enough to burn that stuff out. IMO.

(Aeh) Has anyone thought about making a left foot rest (dead pedal)? I think it would help comfort a little on long trips. They sell one for tj's but I would rather custom make one. Any ideas? The floor mat will be in the way but maybe it could be velcro'd down.

I have a hitch light that is a tail light and brake light. Helps give a little more light. O:)
