Got new banjo bolts and crush washers. Wire brushed everything and we have brakes again! Installed E brake lever and got center console in. All done......... until the next time
Tried to replace the rear calipers, but could not get the hoses to seal on either one. Think I will have to replace the bolts and brake lines too........
I doubt that. Why would they skip years?
All Chrysler's do it. I've done Chargers, Magnums, 300s. Even a New Zealand Grand Cherokee
Before I bought 05, I test drove an 03 and 04 Liberty. Worked in both
So..... once you put in new brake shoes and back the adjusters all the way down and the rotors still won't fit. How do you get some slack in the brake cable???
I need about one inch of cable back out of the brake lever housing
Ok, I just did this Saturday. I think the problem a few here are having is the thermostat. It is on the bottom of the engine. If you only open the petcock on the radiator, you aren't getting any of the antifreeeze out of the engine block (and maybe the heater core)....
You don't have to use...
I think so. They must have went thru the car wash a lot since it is black. Looks like it has had all the services done. None of the fluids were dirty and even the transfer case fluid was still red.
Just bought a black 05 Sport last week for youngest son. Spent the weekend changing all fluids, trans filter, and plugs......
Saturday will be working on the stuck parking brake....
Hello from Ohio...
We bought our youngest son a black 2005 Sport for his first car. No mods planned other than a stereo with blue tooth..
Strictly looking for maintenance information. Already replaced all fluids, and next up is a stuck E brake.... :Stupid Me:
