Milky sludge in oil filler neck

It does say in the TSB that moisture accumulates in the line and PCV and the plastic spout. The TSB is referring to a frozen PCV but the fix addresses the moisture problem that creates it. The fix according to Chrysler is a newly designed Plastic spout and re-routing the hose. It is natural...

    Fuel Overflow Problem

I guess I'm lucky on that one. Mine has to be in the right position not to turn off automatically when I need 10 gal. If I try to top it off after it stops automatically gas is a sprayin. I would follow the TSB trouble shoot step by step because if it's not venting correctly you would expect...

    2004 Jeep Liberty (3.6L/V6) "chugging"

I'm thinking on the same lines first check codes with a scanner. How much coolant did you add? where did it go. Did you ever see a leak? After filling you need to idle the engine about 20 mins cap off to remove trapped air then top off again. Did your oil level rise?

Milky sludge in oil filler neck

Yeah, I haven't heard of many people loosing bearings or that kind of stuff but it might be interesting to sample the oil for moisture content.

how does traction control (ESP) work ?

I get comparatively poor mileage in mine. Probably due to fuel quality. I changed the PCV, plugs that were seriously worn, air filter, fuel filter all at the same time. The first tank full I pressed the ESP button to compare. After all the new part I lost about 1mpg. Since then I have run...

Milky sludge in oil filler neck

Early and late model KJ's have this problem of moisture buildup in the PCV system. When cold the moisture in the PCV valve itself freezes rendering it inoperable. The fix includes a new filler neck, hoses for re-routing, a new PCV valve, new resonator cap, new system diagram sticker, and an...

    Fuel Overflow Problem

Help me understand, Your problem is that the pump doesn't stop pumping gasoline when your KJ is full? Is that correct? After the pump stops are you trying to put just a little more gas in it to round up to the next 10 cents or dollar?

I would think you would have to clear the code at autozone after installing the new TPS.

If she let's you have a boat, tow car, and comes with on the right trip's as long as you put decent rubber on go for it. I was told you need a doctor for the installation. With some searching around you will find a couple of posts that go into the factory wiring for said lights. I personally...

Milky sludge in oil filler neck

If it's really cold when that is happening and consistently, it might have something to do with the pcv valve freezing up as described in the tsb

I've paid for what some call tacky, fake, plastic, bolt on lights up top because they were flat to start but weren't we talking about Renegades. I don't like anything too flat but a tummy. Embellish the curves.

    Front Driveshaft ?'s

I have blown countless u-joints off road. I prefer weaker u-joints as a weak link in the drive train but you have to weld flat bar around the shaft. You don't always hear or feel that grinding or lobing in some situations. When you do completley blow a u-joint have everything in a three foot...

I'm glad you all like your renegades but what am I missing. I have a sport that has all skid's, select-trac, tow package cooling with no receiver for some reason, I don't get it. I know I wish I had overhead computer console and leather but that's all and I don't know if those are renny base...

    ARB Backordered adding weight

I expected the rough ride especially until I got the bumper but, I didn't foresee the two to three month bumper delivery time. I think if I lowered it 1 inch the shocks might prevent the topping out bang and shutter. It still rides like a Cadillac compared to my CJ and the A/C keeps it cool...
