Yes, old cars are money pits but worth every penny as it's a labour of love. Hope its a Cooper? Got a chance of getting one myself at the moment. Suspension (steering issues)
As a quick and cheap thing to try, you could swap the front and rear wheels side to side as sometimes the edges wear from the camber on the road and swapping from side to side allows them to sit on the other sides of the tyre and is usually enough to make them track better. Yes that engine has been used in so many cars, its unbelievable! Sometimes transverse, sometimes right way round, Morris 1000 to MG Metro and everything inbetween! Aerodynamics
The KJ has the aerodynamic properties of a barn door so whatever you do will make some improvement to it! If you want a quick fix to get 1 or 2 more mpg's I would go for the road based tyres but obviously this will only "save" money in the long run if they are ready for replacing now otherwise...- Banditsteve

Wheel fitment?

'04 Liberty (Manual Tranny) Hard Shifting
Yes the manuals are hydraulic and yes they are a "sealed system". Master cylinder, slave cylinder and pipe all filled and bled at the factory so if something is leaking its a full replacement cos there are no bleed nipples on the slave cylinder so you can't bleed the system. Misfire
X2. If the fault returns to same cyl, you could try moving coil pack and see if the fault moves with that. If the fault then returns to same cyl try moving plug. Yes just check your oil regularly. Only takes a minute and could end up saving you thousands of dollars. We live in a society where the more reliable something is, the less you think about it, so don't ever become complacent. Hehe. You guessed wrong then. I was a technician for 15 years so yes i have seen inside one or two engines. And if you put thicker oil in you will get even higher pressure. Anyone ever had any problems with their alarm going off for no reason?
