    2004 Liberty running hot **SOLVED**

First, Verify that your temp really is high. Possible bad gauge. Secondly, that radiator, at 200K, has been around the block more than once, so changing it out wouldn't hurt and a new radiator from Rock is less than $100.

    Clutch disengage switch

Hi Guys... Is there a way to bypass the clutch switch for starting the jeep? In the morning or later in the evening, I push in the clutch pedal and everything starts OK. Lately, when parked outside at work in the sun, I really have to mash the pedal down to get it to start. I've been driving...

    Bleeding Brakes

I have a vacuum pump for bleeding brakes solo. The hose/adapters seem to fit tightly on the bleeder fitting but I seem to be sucking air from around the threads. I’m only opening the valve about 1/8-1/4 turn but it still seems to be leaking. I’ve used silicone grease but that seems to wear...

    Maybe another Libby but manual

I have 115K on my '03. No problems. I'm 68 and I've never owned an automatic. I think those automatics are a passing fad. Another couple of years and automatics won't even be around.

    Help!!! Son's wrangler's brakes

Cactus Jacked and others. Well, I got them. Couldn't get to the adjusting screw from the back access slot. Ended up drilling a series of 1/2" holes in the drum outside of the hub edge. We got the adjusting screw all of the way in but they still didn't want to come off. Rotated my slot to...

    Help!!! Son's wrangler's brakes

I know this is for KJ's but Jeeps are Jeeps are Jeeps. His '03 Wrangler's rear drum brake drums are stuck. Both sides. They're loose. We drilled out the retaining pins to release the shoes. We unbolted the piston and disconnected the brake line. Everything should just fall off, right...

    Keeping undercarriage rust-free???

A friend at work just bought a truck that’s about 25 years old. It spent most of its life in Texas but for the last few years, it was in Ohio. Friend looked at the frame, etc. and there was nearly rust free. He also looked at a car the seller has had in Ohio well over 15 years, also with little...

    Fog Lights

I would like to install some fog lights on the bumper of my '04 Sport. I think bumper mounts look better than the lower ones. Can I just drill a hole above the tow hooks? Is there anything in there that I shouldn't be drill into? Or is there a better option? Is there a light bar that mounts...

    Stuck front rotors

tommudd... I wasn't using regular WD-40. They have WD-40 Penetrant Spray that I used on a few non-automotive stuck bolts and plumbing and had pretty good luck. Anyway, I'll give Aero-Kroil a try as soon as I locate a dealer. Thanks for the tip. Joe

    Stuck front rotors

Hi. I have a ’04 Liberty and a new set of Rock Auto Ceramic pads and rotors in a box. I’m having a hell of a time getting the old rotors off. I’ve used WD-40 penetrating oil, dead blow hammer, 2 lb. sledge, and even tried bolts through the caliper mounting bracket holes. Went through all this...
