    Strange sound from rear wheels

I have been driving for 900 miles with my 2007 without rear moan, then I've washed the KJ and now I have the moan...it's definitely a film on the disks!

    Engine stop

I guess it should be the pop-off valve action, but why it can be heard sometimes yes and others no ?? I'm somewhat confused...900 miles without "SBUFF" and now it comes out.

    Reverse bucking

I've been told, here in Italy, that it's normal having the KJ jump like a frog when you shift in and out R, N, D, becouse it's a Hydraulic automatic transmission.

    Engine stop

I have a MY 2007 Liberty, is it normal that when you turn the key to the off position the engine rumbles (that's the best way I can describe it) for one second before stopping? Now I'm becoming aware that it makes a kind of gentle "SBUFF" noise after the rumble...did you ever notice it in your...

    Break-in

Yes, that's for sure. Each time you get some vital part of the engine or pf the transmission, raplaced, you have to break it in...not as long as the first one but it's still a break in.

    Break-in

Pablo, ok so I've always done right with my motor break ins. I've always driven easy and carefull for the first 1500-1800 miles (depending on which brand and diesel or gasoline) but I've always found people at services who told me..."it's strange, looks like you've never full throttled your...

    How to raise the KJ

Yea, I was talking exactly of such items!!!...but I was not sure if the KJ could stand , like a normal car, the stress of a four points lift. Thx Corwyyn

    How to raise the KJ

:D :D :D gummy bricks are very tasty :D LOL Anyway I tried to describe what I see tire servicers use in Italy to lift up a car when servicing it. They put four bricks made of gum under the cars and then they lift the bridge (don't know if in english is called the same way) in order to have...

    Instrument Panel

It's somewhat weird indeed, but my dealer states it's a self check performed by the panel. I'll try to find out in which circumstances it does that.

    How to raise the KJ

Let's see if I get myself understood. Where are to be put under the KJ the gummy bricks used to raise cars at the tire service bridge? Are there specific positions for them under the KJ or the KJ is not supposed to be raised in such way? Thanks

    Instrument Panel

I've noticed that every once and a while turning the ignition key to on position (just position on not engine start), the fuel, temperature, tachometer and speedometer indicators go straight to end scale and then go back to zero as if some kind of check was performed automatically on my MY 2007...

    Transmission insertion is rough

Sorry for double 3d....thanks for the answer MoladoGuy. To be more precise, I've noticed that when I pass from R or D to N, I get a nice shake of the KJ as if something "connected under force" is instantly disconnected. Is that normal on the KJ? I don't remember such reaction on other brands...

    Transmission insertion is rough

Hi, I'd like to have your opinion on the way my automatic transmission behaves. I've noticed, on my MY 2007 CRD Limited that passing from R to P I can hear very often, with the glass down in the garage, a "STOCK" sound. A similar sound and a small jump of the KJ can be achieved passing rapidly...

    User manual

Well I was talking about just the user manual, I have downloaded one from the JEEP site and it's more than 400 pages, but it doesn't speak about CRD. What is weird for me is that on my manual, which looks anyway complete, is that for example the brake-in advices are just a correct translation of...

I have got my brand new 2.8 CRD Liberty, is there any place where I could download the full user manual? I have downloaded (I don't remember from which link) the full manual for the 3.7L but I obviously need the one for the 2.8 CRD. The one we have in Italy is just a small one, nothing...
