Jeep Tires

Good Morning, Everyone

I'm new here and to Jeeps in general, just purchased a 2012 Liberty and would really like to get more aggressive looking tires for it. The stock tire size is P225/75R16. I was looking at General Grabbers, as long as they are that size it should be fine right? My only real concern would be rubbing. Also I would like it to have a slightly wider stance, bringing the wheels out an inch or two maybe slightly past the fenders. Can I put wider tires comfortably on this, or maybe wheel spacers?

Now I have used Grabbers on three vehicles. Could not find them in my size last time so I got Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail AT All Terrain 235/70R16 106T Light Truck Tire. Both tires performed well in winter, which was my concern. But use this website to find what will and will not fit. Mine is an 04 so much different body. I do have spacers on the Wrangler but I do not like them, even though it helps it a bit since it has a lift. My personal opinion is they can be unsafe, though lots of people use them.
