had the recall done, they tore the boots when installing the new ones. bought some moogs, never going back

Any comments on Crown parts? They're a Jeep parts supplier since 1963.

Did some research on Moog lowers and they're crap since they begin with RK in the part number. Can't find a better line from them.

And Mopar ones are $450 each. :D

i meant moog lbj's not the arms, still the mopar arms just changed the bushings as i go

I remember when MOPAR ones where less then half that new.

If that were the case now I wouldn't even be looking at other options lol. :blah: Still not convinced mine are the source of my squeaking noise.

Contacted Detroit Axle about their lca's. I asked about the bushings and they said that they are polyurethane, but didn't give the manufacturer.

Stupid question... the front LCA have the camber bolt to do the alignment? I replaced my uppers and the garage said they couldn't do the alignment because the camber bolt was seized in the bushing and the local parts place wanted $700 each I believe. Luckily everything is aligned for now, but as soon as I need to adjust I need to replace the arms?

The " camber bolts" get rusty and seize up in the arm/ sleeve
They would need to cut the bolt out and replace ( if possible to get the bolt rest of the way out. )

Can't really say whether or not the whole LCA needs to be replaced until you actually take it apart.
In some cases after you cut the bolt out you can just hammer the remaining part out of the bushing using a punch or something similar. In that case you wouldn't have to replace the LCA itself (assuming the bushings are still fine). But I've also had one that was seized up so badly there was no way to get it out. In that case you could press in new bushings instead of replacing the whole arm, but those LCA bushings can be a real pain if you don't have all the proper tools.
