    Anyone know what size bolt holds the oil cooler in place?

    '07 KJ w/ 3.7L. My oil cooler bolts are missing. The previous owner had the bracket jammed behind the one for the condenser to keep it in place. Nothing appears to be damaged, I think I just need to go buy a bolt or two. Anyone happen to know the thread size?

    So, yesterday, we finally had a day here over 10°, and I got this dam thing figured out. It had a loose nut behind the wrench... I put the thermostat in backward. I'm not a smart man.

    I did replace the lower hose. The new one also did not contain the spring... I still have the old hose. I'll try putting the spring back in. Would be great if it was that simple.

    I made sure to take lots of pictures as I was taking things apart. So I did get the thermo' installed in the right direction.     Thanks for that advice. I didn't use a Mopar thermo. I used Gates, which have served me well in the past, although I don't see anything on the packaging or the website I bought it from that mentions the temp rating. It does have a vent on it which I'm pretty sure I put at or very near the top...

    Thanks for the info. That seems like a better idea, since I don't ever need the lighter anyway. Plus, some of them have an on/off switch, which is perfect for the always-on outlet in the JK.

    Do you know what brands they are? The adapter I have inserts further into the rear socket (the one that works) than it does the front socket. This adapter has a metal body with a raised lip around the positive terminal. So, I'm assuming it's just slightly to big for the front socket.
