Twice a year my wife and I take our Utility trailer on a 1800km journey, When its loaded its near 2000lbs. We hardly notice it at all. You should be more then ok :)
Try unhooking your PCV valve, they can get weak and "flutter" like that. If that is the culprit then its a very cheap fix. The PCV valve is the little black PVC piece next to your oil cap with the black hoses attached to it. You need to unhook it from both sides before you check it again.
It's good to see you are still around! I am looking into buying the complete OME suspension kit. Just need to save up the coin :P I will look around but from what I have seen and read OME is the best of both worlds. Good off road and good on road.
Hey, It's been about 1 and a half years since I was on here last. Life gets
busy and you forget the fun things. This is just me saying hi, and delivering
my 2 year owners report for a used 2007 Libby limited that has had a rough
last 2 years. Overall it's been a good vehicle. Excellent...
I don't have any wiring diagrams or the ability to take under vehicle pictures (1' of snow outside). I hope someone can guide you. But you will want to look at the TCM connectors and wires running underneath the vehicle.
This sort of intermittent issue is usually a wiring issue. A good pot hole and the wires are not touching, one more good bump and they are back. I would still look for broken wires and damaged connectors.

For both issues make sure to check the grounds are all good. Check for broken wires going to and from the transmission. If you have these codes and no other you may just have a...
I believe that is a code for the engine not warming up fully. If correct you can look at replacing your thermostat. It may be stuck open.
P1281 - Engine Is Cold Too Long

Never understood the "it's not a strut"... To me a shock does not hold a spring, my "shocks" up front are an assembly and hold a spring, oh well. What do you do with your jeep? No sense in wasting money if its only a mall-crawler.
without having the exact code number and the vehicle available for scanning it will be hard to help you. I recommend a competent shop.
Check this out, it may help.

no, silicon spray does not damage rubber at all. the bushing hold the bar tight to the chassis. The bar tends to twist or spin ever so slightly on the bushings. New bushings grip and twist with it. Old bushings that are worn don't grip so well and the bar spins/twists in the bushing causing a...
yeah I know. Also other news someone wrecked their KJ in the reserve today, They put there 03 on its side. Will probably be a write off from what I hear. We had some good snow fall today.
