Can anyone diagnose this? It sort of sounds like a rattling/buzzing sound. It almost sounds like it's coming from the oil tube. Notice how the sound gets louder with the cap removed. Here's a quick vid:

Sounds like a piece of hard plastic vibrating against something. Does the sound change with increased RPMs?

Try unhooking your PCV valve, they can get weak and "flutter" like that. If that is the culprit then its a very cheap fix. The PCV valve is the little black PVC piece next to your oil cap with the black hoses attached to it. You need to unhook it from both sides before you check it again.

Be careful though, an older PCV valve can break when you try to remove it from the filler spout, forcing you to buy a new PCV valve (at least they're cheap.)

Not that I've ever done that, of course. :D
