    Project: My crazy Jeep

Looks good. What size tires did you end up getting? I just saw this and was going to mention that 235s will be too skinny for 8" wide. 245s would be the absolute minimum that I'd go with.

    JBA adjustable struts

I still have to install mine :icon_redface::icon_redface: I've had the kit for almost a year now, just haven't had time to install it. I'll let you know when I get to it though. Then you'll have another stock, OME, JBA comparison.

    RCV Front Axles from JBA

Hey, don't jinx me lol. I don't really wheel with a heavy foot, so I might be alright. Besides I haven't heard on any problems with KK front diffs...yet...

    RCV Front Axles from JBA

Us KK owners don't have that worry :ROFLJest::ROFLJest:

    Jeep wagon comparisions

Basically WK(Grand Cherokee) and XK(Commander) are identical suspension wise. I know there's a few Wks out there on 37s, so I would assume you can do that with a XK. Hemis are where it's at. The mileage difference isn't huge between the 3.7, 4.7 and Hemi. Now 4x4 systems I'm not too sure of, but...

KK Front Bumper Guard/Grille Guard Options?

You either need to get in touch with AtTheHelm on Lost or custom build your own now.

Suspension for driving faster than I should?

The biggest concern I would have is uca contact with big drops. Normally it's controlled at low speeds when you're crawling, but when you're at high speeds....

    kj lift...confusion

If you're going OME lift go 927 front springs and 948 rear springs. They're heavy duty springs. They'l give you about 2.5" of lift of new stock height. So if you sagged an inch, you'll get 3.5" of lift. Shocks, I run bilsteins. I love them. Some run OME or Ironman. I believe Bilstein is the...

    strut spacer or top plate?

Basically, the Ironman kit will get you about 2.25". 245/75-16s will clear with that much lift. Preferably, you want 2.5" to accommodate all tread patterns etc. Add the 1/4" top plate, and you have 2.75" of lift. Plenty for the tires. You can then add the 3/8" clevis to get about 3.25" of lift...

    KK Tire size

No lift? 245/70-16 will be about the largest without rubbing. Even then if your suspension has sagged a lot you might have a bit of rub on the pinch weld.

    New KJ owner

OME 927/948 springs will get you 2.5" of lift, Ironman will get you about 2.25". Both will run $7-800. Want to go higher you can add a clevis lift, top plate, and extra rear isolators for 3.5" of lift. Only problem is you'll need upper a-arms around 3". No big deal, but that lift jumps to...

Here She Is After Frankenlift & Duratracs

OME springs(927,948) will net 2.5" of lift. As it's been said, the frankenlift adds spacers. Everything you add to the front doubles. If you put an inch spacer in, you get 2" of lift. I don't understand how they can claim the frankenlift is below 3". Maybe in the rear lol.

    The lift ultimate question

From what I've seen, iron man gets about 2.25". OME gets 2.5"

Here She Is After Frankenlift & Duratracs

I was always told by everyone that the frankenlifts get about 3.5" after settling. Rachael just had her KK test fitted for one. I think she was under the impression that it'll be below 3" as well. Either way, the KJ looks good. How does the frankenlift lift the rear? Is it just springs and...

    The lift ultimate question

You could always do the 1/4" spacer plate, 3/8" clevis and an extra rear isolator or 2. That will get you about an inch of lift or so for $~100 maybe even less. It'll buy you time tip you can afford the springs and shocks. Also you'll be able to do the 3.5" lift right away. You'll just need to...
