I had to place my original sentry key up underneath the dash permanently so my remote start would work. I look at it this way though, I can now use any key from anywhere to start it so if I do loose the key it wont cost a fortune to replace.

Re: No locks on mine, either. The dealer I used to work at had to remove all the wheels off the Jeeps and all the trucks with the wheels underneath because we were loosing so many of them. We built a huge tire rack and labeled them with the stock number and had to keep them inside.
