Got a towing hitch installed and my restraint control module replaced under recalls today, which also happened to fix the Airbag warning light I had... :p

Also swapped the TCM with one pulled from a 2004 Grand Cherokee 4.7, so now my 3.7 is paired with a 545RFE.

I would get rid of the plastic spare wheel cover, as I did:

I don't know where is my Reply, I saw it when I wrote it, now it's gone?! Anyway, I want US bumper because it have place for licence plate, only than can I remove plastic spare cover.

Why did You cover Your wheel, isn't it nicer when You can see?

So today, I removed my old front drive shaft that was making clunking noises in 4WD full-time and replaced it with a brand new one. The job seemed easy enough - 6 bolts to loosen on each end, remove the old drive shaft, place the new one, and tighten the bolts back. however, when I took it for a quick test drive, it would not shift into 4WD (part time or full-time) at all - the 4WD shifter moved easily up and down, with no tension like it's not engaging at all. Wondering if I unknowingly knocked the shifter cable off the transfer case or if it broke at the shifter...

well after poking around underneath, mostly by feel because I was too lazy to take off the skid plates to see better, I think I had knocked the shifter cable loose where it attaches to the transfer case. i stuck it back where it felt like it was supposed to go and the 4WD shifting works again!

You should get new heads for it and rebuild the old one. They're pretty cheap and relatively easy to do.

Why didn't you just rebuild the old one, 35-40 bucks and 1/2 hours work

You can get a new Mopar plastic piece that connects the cable to the transfer case, or you can buy ¼" axle snap nuts at ACE Hardware and call it a day. The ACE option is less than $1 and the Mopar option is a couple $$.

Looks like you have got a serious lean to the left to try and counterbalance the Jeep's lean to the right. :D
