I have a few black risers under my rear and front springs which makes me think Silvy is lifted. (See attached photos) I need to buy new rear absorbers. The current ones are the model 52088673AC and I was wondering if I should use the same size absorbers and springs or go a bit burlier as I’m on FSR often.

also this is loose...

Sorry to say you have a very bad lift, a dreaded spacer lift
Just installing new shocks will help maybe for a month if that before they will be toast

Looking at your front springs they are already stacked, meaning worn plum out so you need new springs and shocks
If you install new spring like original equipment ones you will be back where you are now in no time
Problem is stock springs are too weak from the get go, add in a spacer lift and then the problem start

Can we not put in strong or bigger springs to accomodate the extra forces caused by the lift?

Stronger springs are OME
like 927 front and 948 rear, give you 2.5 inches of lift over new stock height
They give you lift without the spacers and will greatly improve ride when combined with either Bilstein or OME shocks
If you continue to use the spacers you'll just be throwing money away on new springs and shocks
stock front springs are rated at 310 lb, they should of used 345-350 from the factory at least
OMe 927s are rated at 400 lb giving lift plus a great ride and handling

It appears you have put a jacksjack under the inner CV in one of those pictures. Not a good idea. What Tom said is truth, and you'll be glad you did it right.

One more thing to do
park on level surface
measure left front from middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare
see what you come up with
Thank you

on the video, either outer or inner tie road ends are gone ( worn out )
looks more like inner or the rack needs replaced

Got around to take some measurements and further investigate the upper tie rods. After looking closer at the tierod ends I realize the issue lies within the rack and pinion. I’ve posted some video of what it looks like. A lot of “play” but not sure if it is repairable or if I have to replace the whole rack.

I’ve uploaded the video and the measurements. Not sure what to do exactly with the suspension as I would love to drop $1k in new suspension but this thing has more issues and leaning more towards a cheaper option. Maybe just get new shock absorbers and leave the old springs.

Would never just replace the shocks only
old springs would just wear them out sooner due to bouncing more when hitting pothole, bumps etc
Plus you have to compress the fronts to install new shocks

and there is that 1000 dollars that everyone always comes up with ! LOL

Do the front first, rack if it needs replaced
then OME 927 springs and Bilstein front shocks
OME 927 front springs 175-180 for two
Bilstein front shocks 90 each so 360 for the front
