Hello!

I recently changed my battery which caused the radio to reset. It now ask for the antitheft security code.
Only problem I have only 1 to 5 keys and the code include some higher digit?
How to input those digits?

Thank you for your help

Sure you have a KJ? ... I have a 2003 and no idea what you are talking about, so googled. Looks like Jeep started with the security codes in 2012 (KK Liberty)
I'm kinda surprised it would ask for a code after a battery change but have no experience with a 2012+ Liberty.
In any case, from what I find on google, you'll probably have to go through the Jeep dealer service department to get the code if you don't know it.

Couple of links I found about it ...
Service Bulletin: http://www.wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_0805111.pdf
From a Wrangler forum but would also apply to a Liberty: https://www.wranglerforum.com/threads/res-radio-security-code.151132/

Hello, yes I'm sure it is a KJ.
The reset happened maybe because the before the battery change, the radio sort of went in a short circuit and stopped working.
Also I have a security code sticked on my manual.
Here a picture of the jeep and radio:

It's the same code asked here in this video (same radio model, but different car):

If you drop power such as replacing the battery then the Radio will not switch ON unless a 4 digit code is entered.

I have the same radio as shown in your picture and my code is 4521.

What is your code..for that type radio it should be 5 digits from 1 to 5?

Maybe that code you have is for a different Radio of for something else?

Is your radio now working with the 4 digit code now?
I always thought that on the radio itself the code was part of the serial number, located on the unit itself.

Unfortunately still no luck. I do not have tools to pull out radio and check if there is a code on the radio itself

Don’t lose that other code!

maybe it is your 4 digit pin for your keys / security module.

Hello, I have a problem too. My car radio cd is asking me for a code, and I don't have it. The serial number is: T0012123270420 . I searched on the internet and found a cd code generator site. Do you have any idea if it is legit or not? I searched on the internet and found a radio code generator site. Do you have any idea if it is legit or not?

No idea if it's genuine I'm afraid, last time I needed a Jeep radio code I found a guy advertising on ebay, gave him the details, paid him and he sent me the code. Jeep dealers can do it too, but mine wanted an hours labour so ebay was cheaper!
