I bought a 2006 Jeep Liberty 6 months ago. It came with oversized rims and tires on it but no lift so sharp turns would make the tires run into the fenders. Two months ago, it started steering poorly so I took it in. The mechanic said the right front ball joint was cracked and the front break callebars were seized. He replaced those and the control arm for three thousand dollars but since then it has been riding extremely rough. I did put the stock tires and rims back on it. Why would it become so bumpy after the fixes when it wasn’t before? I’m not very mechanically savvy and hate to think it’s going to cost a lot more to re-fix this. The whole vehicle is only worth 6k. Ideas?
