In need of a Rear upper control arm.

Just got off the phone with Mopar in Florida, they want $512 for the part.

Moog wants $107

Prime Choice Auto - $58.21

Detroit Axle - $69.25

Rockauto - ACDelco - $104.79

My question:

What do most of you use?

Thanks usa.gif

Mopar only...nothing else will last and you'll be redoing it in a few months. I got a Mopar one with 58k on it for $50 from a junkyard. Haven't used it yet but I figure even being used in good shape it's better than an aftermarket one.

At the price of Mopar your not far from the price of jba bolt on, I'd strongly consider the upgrade.

Thanks for the replies. I'll give some of the local yards a call, if I don't have any luck I'll bite the bullet and throw the 1/2K at Mopar guy in Florida.

Have to remember those in yards may not be that good either now, since most are at least 7 years old etc

Running 2 aftermarket ones. What is the secret to the mopar brand that the aftermarket ones don’t have ? A different rubber in the end bushings ? A superior ball joint ?

Both are better
I tried a cheaper brand one time, less than 3 months it was totally junk
Have removed 4-5 other cheaper ones that just lasted a few months

Well hopefully I grabbed the better of the aftermarket selection. I know some is complete garbage - price usually reflects like aka fleabay specials.
