Does anyone know what the biggest size of rim and tire i can fit on my jeep without any lift?

7 inch wide/ 5 inches of backspacing
( same as stock)
Depending on how much sag you have already 245-70-16s would be it, then they may rub some , again due to the sagging springs
measure bottom the fare in front to middle of the wheel then we can tell how much sag you have already and what you maybe able to run

most Liberty owners has 245/70/16 without a lift kit on their ride. you can go with a 255/70/16 but you might experience minor rubbing.

Here we go again
ALL DEPENDS on how much sag you have already
I've seen 235-70-16s rub since the springs were sagged that bad with 78,000 miles on the KJ
So no way would 245-70- or even more so 255-70s of worked
Measure first to see amount of sag
middle of the wheel/ hub to very bottom of the flare
new stock height after April 12, 2002 would of been 19 inches

I have a 2003 KJ 2.8CRD with new 1.5" OME lift set from JBA. The stock rims are 7x16 with 41.3 mm offset and 5.2 back space.
I would like to add some more lift by replacing the current tires with bigger ones. I have ordered 7x16 Dotz rims with 13 mm offset and 4.0 back space. What tire size would you recommend to put on it?
It wouldn't make much sense to change to 245/70 r16 because it is just slightly bigger then the OEM tires. My preference would be 245/75 r16 or 30x9.5 r16. Do yo think that these sizes can be applied without rubbing? Will those sizes require trimming?

245-75-16 would be the biggest with the 2.5 inch lift Don't know what a Dotz wheel is but as long as its 7 inches wide and 4 inches of backspacing you will be good
You will have to pound over the pinch weld

Kzoli, do you mind sharing the Dotz rim part / product / model identifier? I've been looking for rims similar to what you have found but didn't find anything.

I have the 2" BDS lift, 1.5" Eibach wheel spacers and 245/70/16 tyres, but the wheels stick out a tad more than I would like to, the front left tyre rubbing on the front of the "underbumper" at full lock when the suspension is compressed. I would like to go to 255/70/16 or 245/75/16 and remove the spacers, but need a 7x16 rim with offset 5-15 to avoid the rubbing.

255/70R16 tyres are the biggest you can fit on a stock KJ. The stock tyre size is 235/70R16, which are 29 inch diameter...255/70R16's are 30.1 inch diameter. I know this because I had this size on the back of my KJ when I bought it, and stock size tyres on the front. So I know they can fit on the back without rubbing, but I can't guarantee they will not rub on the front when you turn the steering full lock.

It came with two different sizes of tires? What dip sh** had it before you
PLUS you can run 265-75-16s on the rear, just don't hit any bumps with them on. BUT back to the original, why say 255-70-16s will work when they will not all the way around? Thats like someone stating I'm a virgin since its been 10 years . :happy175::happy175:

Probably the dodgy used car dealer I got it off...Before he had it, it was a road tax exempt mobility vehicle. He has also put the wrong battery in it...a 113, which has a capacity of only 50AH and a puny 500CCA...Starts the 2.8 VMD ok now but come the winter it will be a different matter. I may have to try and fit a battery tray from another vehicle to allow me to fit a bigger battery, as the 013 seems to completely fill the existing tray.
