Hello all! I am jeff, I am currently in the Watertown, NY area. I am not new to the Jeep world. I used to own a 1997 TJ with all the bells and whistles. I am now back in with my 2007 KJ Sport. Lots of fun stuff done to her, plenty more to come!

Welcome - nice looking KJ!

Built for the trail - and this winter's snows. How do you compare your KJ to the TJ?

Honestly, my TJ was built WAY more for trail per se. It had a 4", racing seats, 4 point belts, no carpet, and a few odds and ends of the like.

However, I have put my KJ through some tough snow and such and overall I would have to say I am VERY happy that I ended up with it. It rides SO much better. Both in overall comfort and highway usability. My KJ with the 17" rubicons and good tire along with the lift rides smooth and steady anywhere from 15 to 75. So I am very impressed. :)

Sure you've taken some flak for it, others have for having a Rubi decal on a KJ
I know i did for the whole 8 hours i had mine on it. My 02 is pretty close to a Rubicon KJ if Jeep did make one. Lockers front and rear, np241or, TJ rubi moabs, 4" lift, 32s.

I took it off and went with the "sleeper" look

understandable. Im Cool with taking flak though. I like it so I will leave it. I installed my 410W inverter with a 150A breaker before it. I plan to Put a small compressor off that leg as well to have some portable air. I have a Thomas compressor already just need a tank. I also upgraded the dome and map lights to LED. Fun day! HI Lift and accessories will be in on Monday!
