Hi guys long time since I posted because I haven't been having any issues with my 02 Liberty sport daily driver....until about 3 weeks ago I turned on the heat and the fan switch only works on low and high, nothing comes out on the 2/3 middle fan switches. I got a whole new control panel off of eBay and same thing, only can feel a breeze coming out of the vents only high and low. Is there a really of some sort that work the middle controls?? Any great ideas would really help out, and I live in the Chicagoland area and it's really getting cold-would like to be able to get heat at a comfortable level!!!!! Thanks for the help!!!

Just talked toy local dealership and they suggested that it could be the fan resistor, and it's a pretty cheap part to fix....just wondering if any of you guys have had this happen or where the stupid resister is, they said either on top of the box by the fan or could be under the glove box...please help!!!

Is there a tech guide here??
Looked in handy old Haynes manual and it looks like it's below the glovebox near the floor, or do I need to remove the box liner and then go that route??

Sorry didn't realize that what you posted was actually a link, and boy oh boy talk about easy!!! Dirty rotten dealership wanted 110 to diagnose and they told me that it "should" be no more than 100 additional!!! Really it took me longer to clean out my glovebox and it did the trick!! Now onto the new thermostat and I should be good to rock this winter, Thanks a million guys!!!
