Dunno, still sounds like you guys are talking about an Aussie. ThunderbirdJunkie has driven and ridden in tons of Powertrax-equipped Jeeps and never experienced what you guys are talking about.

I'm curious about this comment....are you saying the Aussie's are bad? Or just noisy? They're about $100 cheaper, which is why I was considering them over the Spartan or Powertrax. They appear to be functionally the same. Just curious. Thanks!

The Aussie lasted about 30k miles in ThunderbirdJunkie's Jeep. They are incredibly noisy, too. Got a Powertrax now. Well worth the extra $100.

How much did u end up spending on the Powertrax? (Just the Part)?

Just over $400. Caught it on sale from 4wheel Parts with free shipping when the Aussie blew up amd ceased providing forward motion under anything over quarter throttle.
