Anyone tried these or running them?
Just wondering have a set of 9007s on loan to try in the headlights. They are 80/100 watt
and 80 watt H10s for the fogs

Any comments before I install them?

Im running 55/65watts. And they are brighter then the ones that were in the KJ.

Added: My 55/65 are just the headlights not the foglights!

All I'm gonna say... as a truck driver.... The law on headlights is 55w for low, and 65 for high... u come up behind us truckers with those 80w lights, be prepared to be blinded in your mirrors as you pass us at the very least, and at the most, reported to the police for illegal headlights... yeah, you can see better, but everyone coming toward you or in front of you will be blinded, thus raising your risk of being involved in an accident with blinded oncoming traffic... stay stock... it's the law!
ALSO.... Your Fog lights are not to be over 55watts either since they are on with your low beams, and by law... you are allowed no more than 4 white lights on at the front of your vehicle at one time

That all having been said... you can get bright white bulbs that are legal 55/65w that will light up the roads better

The laws may vary by state, no? Also, with truckers being up so high you'd think they wouldn't be as bothered by brighter lights. Hell, you're lights are practically at eye level for everyone not driving and SUV or truck.

Are you stating that if I drive by you with bright lights, you're going to pop on your high beams to what, teach me a lesson? Yeah, that's seems like the safe thing to do. Now you have two blinded drivers on the road instead of one. Don't you think that's a bit more dangerous than me having headlights that might be a bit brighter than stock? Two wrongs don't make a right.

Yeah, Id be careful about using 100 watt bulbs on the stock wiring. Fuse should pop before it does any damage, if it does, thats why its there. Not sure what the stock wiring size is or what the size of the fuse is for the dim and bright lights. It may hold up to it, idk.

Either way, if you try it let us know how it goes. My silver stars are going down hill quick, got a feeling they are about to blow so Ill be looking for replacements. Most seem to be happy with the PIAA's.

I put in the 9005 for the fogs. They're great....check in the how to section
My headlights are 80/100 and have been for years. I keep them a bit lower than stock adjustment.

Yeppers, that's the way to do it, Keep them aimed down a bit... and DOT regulations do not vary state by state, the law is 55/65w. one week ago a late model GMC pick up came into the Utah Port Of Entry to complain about a truck driver who flashed his headlights at him as he passed (note that I did not say we would follow you with our high beams on, just flash you because we think you are driving around with hi beams on)... anyway, He complained. The POE brought the truck in and discussed it with him. Long story short was that the POE officer had the GMC get behind the truck with it's lights on (it was also running fogs), and she climbed up in the semi to look in the mirror. She let the trucker go, and the last thing he heard as she escorted Mr. GMC back inside was "Don't you know there are laws about how bright your headlights can be?"
I'd imagine that if you run the bright ones but keep them aimed lower than stock, you will get away with it, and not bother anyone. There are a staggering amount of people out there that have no idea how to tell if their lights are aimed properly... one guy said... "i just pull up to a wall, about 20 ft away, and adjust them at 4 feet from the ground... I asked, what if your driving a corvette? he thought about it and realized his idea was wrong...
