I want to wheel so bad!!!!

Yesterday I saw that jk vs fj and it really got me cravin some wheelin then this morning I'm settin here watching Extreme 4X4 on spike tv and they're doin a special on Jeep Scramblers and its just gettin me all excited wantin to wheel. But! I have crapyears that are bald as could be and waiting on a set of BFG AT's not to mention its snowing here and I would definitely get stuck with these street meats! I wish there were people in Arkansas that wheeled in groups with KJ's!

I know the feeling
I have not done any real wheelin in close to a year and decided that I am going to Gilmer come hell or high water
I dont know where in Arkansas you are but if you are near the TX/LA border there is a large group for south LA going up there the weekend of 1/22-1/23
I will be there
7+ hours 1 way driving my TJ
how ever if you plan to wheel there in a KJ you will need
hooks
skids
good tires

Its a ways off but some of us from Kansas and some from Illinois are going to Hannibal (just north of St Louis) in the spring. You are welcome to join us. Yellocoyote is going And a few others from the Chicago area.Its is half way between us. About 8 or 9 hours, Should be about the same distance for you.

Thats about a 6 and a half hour drive from me up in Jonesboro, North East Arkansas. That would be awesome though! I have hooks and skids and will have some good tires by then, but I doubt my parents would let me go.

we bring a local guy with us who is your age ,17
in fact I made him let me talk to his parents before I would help him lift his TJ
at first they wanted a shop to do the work then I told them that he would be doing the work and I was supplying the tools and the brains ,on my 3rd lift
so I have done it more than once
this way he knows what is going on
then they were ok with it
