The 02kj strikes again. The nub/mount on the lift glass for the support strut broke. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say the whole lift glass needs to be replaced but I'm going to ask anyway. Is there any way to replace the nub/mount on the lift glass? I thought of repairing it but it's small surface area and would be hard to jb weld and/or mighty puddy the thing back together.

Thanks again!

Speaking of lift struts, are these a dealer item only or are there aftermarket ones?

I need new hood and rear glass struts.

Check with the insurance company. It may only cover the front windshield though. I know in ky its required but idk if it covers both.

I was checking that last night as well. I found some pricing of a new rear glass and that costs about $500 so if I can find a used one for 1/2 that I be happy.

Chief........don't forget salvage yards. You might find a good one there. Just a thought.

I thought about this too but the window isn't really "broken". It still does the job it's sapposed too do. It just won't stay up it own anymore since There is only one pump. Plus it's still on her insurance and she probably won't go it.

The yards around here hardly have anything newer than 2000 model year. i think there is one Junk yard in the whole area that get new/newer vehicles.
