wipers dont return to park/rest

03 liberty.all wiper functions work but wipers dont rest where they should.
they dont go up all the way and when shut off they go down to where they should be but go back up maybe 5 inches then stop.

Remove the wipers off their drive spline.
Run the wipers and when it comes to a halt it should be in its correct home position so fit the blades back on the splines with the motor now stopped in the home position.
