window regulator question with pic

Ok here's what I got...everything works, nothing broken, but the pipe cleaner looking thing that spins and makes the window go up and down is all the way out!! How the hell do I get it back in and through the motor and back on track???

kinda late on this one, but if the worm gear (pipe cleaner thing) is spinning, then it is broken. If it is just pulled all the way out then reattach the motor electrical connection, push the worm gear all the way in, and push the window switch. It should just suck it back into place.

And we surely cant tell anything from that picture.

Thanks for the replys! I ended up finding a brand new one on craigslist for 85 bucks!!! Gonna take my old motor and put it on craigslist!
