Thx ridenby - taking a look at the company up here not too far from home.

Can always count on Kentucky helping Canadians. My friends in Louisville have been hosting me for Derby week for the last twenty years on and off... which I'm going to miss this year unfortunately. Just isn't the same telecast at the track here.

Another Chinese made knockoff. But rewired by Canadian company and warrantied here at home for me at least.

Can't be worse than the Rough Country I was looking at, another made in China and very low price...

Warn M8000 seems the standard to beat, but the price tag is just silly up here.

I have a very similar winch. It sounded rough from day one,rock crusher type sound. It works very well,the wireless control,and the strong pulling power. Have run mine for 30-40 minutes at a time no problem.
