Where to mount this? (pics included)

I bought a warn winch remote (76080) for my 9500 XP and I'm now faced with a dilemma.

Where do you guys think is the best place to mount the receiver?

I was thinking that it has to be somewhere high to be protected by water
and came up wit two ideas.

The fist one is on the passenger's fender

and the other right behind the throttle. although I was thinking it might get a bit hot there..

I'd put it on the passenger's side fender myself. The firewall location gets really hot from the engine heat.

was sort of thinking the same thing, but LOL I really liked the "W" looks behind the throttle..
