Where is tone ring?

Hi Guys

I have a KJ 4x4 and I'm wondering
where the ABS tone ring is for the front
axles?

Is it part of the bearing assembly, or
is it attached on the end of the axle
shaft?

I'm looking to buy replacement axle
shafts and "tone ring not included".
But if it's part of the bearing assembly,
then the axles won't have one anyway.
