I am looking at Amsteel Blue, MASTER-PULL.
(One of the same?)
I know sweet diddly-squat about this stuff!
I fully understand the benifit that if synthetic
line were to brake that it just falls to the
ground and not dangerously recoil and either
rip your head or arm off or kill you!

Any other advantages? (Obviously much lighter)

From my research Master-Pull is top of the line. Others will do,seems to be priced all over the place. Some come with sleeves to keep heat of drum(brake in side it) from cooking line, others have sleeves to shield line from UV rays, some have both. Would love to have syn. line, just can't get the beans together for it.

Ryan You could take off 10-20 lbs of steel line off the front end and be safer.
Wonder if those lines stretch a bit and then get tight after real use.
