I got way to much on the list...
Rust areas need painting on pushbar, & Rola basket needs full attention.
The front cross member need rust prevention- eek darn salt!
The wheels need to come off & be cleaned inside & out /brake inspection.
Rear diff need service/new lube & the driveline needs a close look/inspection.
Tri-link rusting a bit too, ah better look at Ball joint etc too.
Check exhaust over good, I think I got a loose clamp somewhere and the muffler may fall off soon LOL..:icon_razz:
Have new rear Monroe shocks to install!
The interior has enough dust that you are afraid to turn on the blower, & sneeze waiting to happen!
The exterior needs a complete detailing! Almost want a pro to do that!

SO what's the plan of attack this spring for your KJ? :buffer:

Mines a short list, not much needs done really.
Replacing
Radiator , hoses, water pump, thermostat and housing, belt, tensioner
then Both CVs and intermediate shaft
after that all other fluids will be done
pull all skids, clean , paint etc underneath
new plugs and air filter
Most everything is just parts to replace so don't have to later / preventable issues
Think I have most everything I need

then on day two , ................................clay bar/ wax

Find the slow coolant loss and fix (about 1/2 quart a month, 2000ish miles)

Replace rotted out rockers with tube steel (home built rock slider rockers :) )

Plugs, oil change

Wash and vacuum interior

Park until Winter and pull out the Maxima

Well, I want a roof rack, so cross rails first, then a Rola, I think. I need to figure out a way to strap in a couple o2 tanks on the roof and do it easy.

One more skid plate to protect that front diff, maybe a gas tank skid plate.

New brake disks and pads are probably going to be needed.

My list has to be short for Spring because my finances are thin. I'd like to take a trip to see my older brother, who I haven't seen in over 10 years - and I recently learned he has ALS and isn't doing so well. That's a long way from home, so I have to figure out how to get oxygen tanks along the way and maybe rent/borrow a camper trailer.

Just replaced rear differential. Next the front. Wheel bearings, lower ball joints, JBA extended UCA, intermediate shaft and bearing, and then maybe the front CV axles. Line x the bumpers and fender flares. Do something rust repair on the rear doors then line x the lower section of the doors.

Might go a little higher(1-1,25") and still have a couple deteriorated BJ and TRE boots I want to replace with urethane boots. I've had 1/4" top plates, 3/4" clevis spacers and 4 extra rear upper isos sitting in the tool box for a while now.

No actual list but.........in my head I know the pig needs a really really good spring cleaning, oil and filter, pcv change, plugs, and general spring check-up where I'm sure I will find more to do.

Same here on the 05. Probably some new tires as the current ones are pretty noisy and brakes all around. Other than that, just put back on anything that falls off.

As for the 02... probably gonna part ways with it at some point very soon. :emotions34:

I have number of maintenance and repair items:

1. Repair/replace AC compressor/bearing-clutch
2. Remove surface rust from rockers and inside bottom door areas, treat with rust proofing methods to prevent full rust-through later.
3. Replace front and rear diff fluids, transmission fluid and filter, t-case fluid, brake fluid and coolant.
4. Purchase and install OME/frankenlift components to replace old saggy and worn out suspension.
5. Scrub clean, sand/scrape loose clear coat from wheels; respray.
6. Fabricate cross bars; buy or build a roof basket.
7. Find mounting options for off-road aux lights
8. Trailer hitch receiver shackle install for front recovery points.
9. Clay bar and wax plus interior deep clean.
10. Underbody spray with undercoating for future protection.
11. Inspect rear UCA and balljoint- possible source of my clunk.

I think that's about it... and of course I have similar fluid maint items to do on our Acadia.

EDIT* Remembered more..

12. Replace loose/worn left outer tie rod end.
13. Inspect/replace sway bar end links- front, remove rear sway bar.
14. Repair/Replace front door speakers with damaged foam.

Priority one is replace the rear power window regulator to fix the falling window. Next, track down a sound which I think is a warped rotor, then start saving for front end parts like the new design JBA UCA ball joints, CV's and intermediate shaft.

3/4 inch clevis is way too much , 1/2 inch is pushing the limits. I never install more than 3/8 inch

Your list looks an awful lot like mine!

Gunna start with the rear axle fluid and decided just to have the dealer check the driveline in phase cuz somethings seemed off for a little bit now that I can't track down.
Boomerang ball joint needs/has needed done
Check over all the undercarriage and redo any rust prevention that decided not to hold up properly
New shocks and struts

And finally, been meaning to do this for months, bring the old girl into the shop after work and clay it so that I can glaze her up. Quite a few scratches that might not come out, but most of it I should be able to get rid of. While I have her in the shop I'll probably steam clean and shampoo the carpet too

Oh and definitely gunna throw on some crossbars finally. Of course, I brought home a new mattress set yesterday without them 30 miles just fine :winner_third_h4h:
