what kind of paint???

ok so i want to paint my door black and i dont know what kind of method and or paint type to use????
You must be registered for see images
and i just want to paint the tan.....thanks

Don't think it's gonna be easy to separate that section from the door panel. But, you are definitely going to want to DYE that section, not paint it.

I kinda like the contrast. JMO.

Might be hard to dye it, but then it's similar to a fake vinyl...so possible.

You *can* paint it with a lot of prep and probably an adhesion promoter. But man, that 'oily' plastic may give you problems.

so i decided to go with krylon fusion and some clear coat...it took awhile but i got a good result i think.....just wonder if it will last.

and the dif color in its just a glare...

if you go to your automotive paint supply you can get vinyl paint..
its actually a vinyl..

i used this in my pt cruiser it seemed durable and in theory coudl be peeled off.

you can find some fine products for interior paints and upholstery and carpet etc... at yourautotrim.com i have ordered fabrics and stuff from them for reupholstering a seat in an old scout. they were very easy to order from, and the products were of high quality. i got everything i ordered in the quantities i ordered. i'm pondering redoing the interior of my kj with some suede from them
