Picked up my Jeep today. This is on my dash, it has a wire than runs between the windshield and the dash. What is it?

my immediate guess is that you have a loan on the jeep, its through one of those quick credit places and thats an antenna for their lojack system..

just a total guess

I probably will tomorrow. It is bugging the hell out of me. Really ***** since if it was for something that has been taken out, I am afraid I will ruin the dash trying to remove it. It is on there with a really good adhesive pad.

heat the pad up with a heat gun or hair dryer and go slow.

and no.. i dont think its a lojack.. if youd said "quick credit" or JD Byrider id say thats what it is..

well, that could be a remote start antenna.. it would be aftermarket nto a mopar kit.
