I like it!
And rockymountain's!
Red with Black, or Red with Grey really works together.
All the other ones here look wicked as well!

Thanks Ryan :D

The more I see the 15in wheels with 4in bs the more I like that route,LOTS more tire options, and cheaper.

That's why I went to a 15" rim...but I would recommend a 4.5" Backspace
to help with rub issues.

Agreed, I read that you're more likely to make a magazine if you're red....

Sorry to bring up an old thread. But....

LOng Tall Texan, You have what I want. I also have a light Khaki but you have the look with the lift, I am currently running stock lift and tires. Can you elaborate a little on you lift. I am a little new with the Kj family. I am usually a ford guy so this is all Greek to me. I am looking to get a lift and would like to know what you have and where I could get it and maybe how much it costs.

Thank you very much
Clint

oh yea I forgot.

I guess I should have mentioned that mine is a CRD. I think from what I have read it does make a difference.

Thanks again

You can not lift a CRD as high as a gasser due to design unless you want to spend some major bucks

Longtall texans is 2 wheel drive so he can lift somewhat higher due to no CV binding up, plus is a gasser

This is a sick rig! So simple and clean. I actually like the way yours looks with no additional lights or anything...just the roof basket.
Damn I wish Jeep wouldn't have cheaped out on the 05-07 Renegades and painted the fenders and bumpers. I ended up bedlining mine but looks so clean all painted the same.

These are LT245/75R16 Goodyear Wrangler Territory (from Canadian Tire) together with the Teraflex BB kit, and Spidertrax front spacers. :smokin: Last touches still to do are the pinch welds and some Durango rear shocks.

Man I disagree completely I bought the sport because I actually liked th elook of the Plastic flares. Last thing I wanted to worry about was rock chips on flares. Given the way my wife drives I'm glad I went sport. She has banged more stuff with them and barely a scratch including side swiping my sister in lawas car with the left rear one. Jeep 1 Mazda 6 O. No damage to Jeep had to repair Fender, 2 doors and rear quarter on mazda.

OK, now for the particulars....

It's a Rusty's spring/shock lift with about 71,000 miles on it. I added a two conduit nut clevis lift after the bumper install because the springs have sagged terribly.

The wheels are Cragar Soft 8's in a 15x8 with 4" of backspacing wearing Goodyear MTs 31x10.5x15.

I've got ALL the skids on it plus Boiler's little rad support to Front Suspension skid filler plate, an ARB Bull bar with a Warn M8000 hiding inside.

I'm at about 21" from hub centre to fender flair.

Good news....

Coming in the mail are a pair of OME790s a pair of OME948s and some Rancho RSX17505. The rear shocks are a year old. They are Skyjacker N8088s. I've also got a pile of rubber bits and bushings coming too.

With the new bits I expect to hit at least 23" hub to flair all around. I kept my old CV shafts after the torn boot incident and they have been machined by a friend of mine. He worked for beer, it's all good. New inner CV boots are in with the pile of rubber bits I ordered.

New pics in May sometime!!
Nice looking Liberty , I also went with Rustys 2.5 lift . Great ride quality .Looking for new rims and tires now . Like the Cragars .
Question is : Will those tires fit with no rub ? Also want a rim that will give wider stance without spacers .Dont know what size tire to go with , as I want biggest tire I can go with without problems . Live in snow country .
Thanks

If you want aftermarket wheels 16X7 with 4 inches of backspacing
tires 245-75-16 although with the Rustys lift they may rub after a while
