I am curious to find out what the price of gasoline and diesel is in your neck of the woods?

Seattle:

Regular: $3.79 per gallon
Prem: $4.07 per gallon

Today, I saw stations ranging all the way up to $4.20 for premium.

You gotta pay for that National Health somehow.

From 2007-10-01 the main road fuel (petrol and diesel) duty rate in the UK is GBP£0.5035 per litre. The rate for biodiesel and bioethanol is £0.3035.[1] Value Added Tax (VAT), currently at 17.5%, is also charged on the price of the fuel and on the duty. At a pump price of 100p/litre (typical for unleaded as at November 2007), this would put the combined tax at 65.24p/litre, or approximately USD$4.84 per gallon. Thus without tax, the retail price would be 34.76p per litre, making a combined tax rate of 188%.[/I]

We're around $2.80 for regular here in Seattle. You can get it for a few cents cheaper in some of the outlying areas.

i payed 2.09 in fairfild ohio sat night

where 1 US gallon = 3.78 liters

so AUD$ 5.55 a gallon

with 1 Aud = .60 USD

so all up i pay US$3.37 a gallon

Well, our gas is finally coming down in price!
$1.09.4 per liter for 89 Octane
$4.14 Canadian funds for a US gallon (3.785 liter)
and
$4.97 Canadian funds for a CDN gallon (4.546 liter)
Might even get down below 1 dollar a liter in the comming months.
Mind you, drive East for 53 KM (32.93 miles) and the same 89 Octane was selling for
$98.6 per liter!
The gas tax's here in the metro Vancouver area are way to high.

In Ballston Spa NY today it was $2.76 for Sunoco. Hess was 2 cents cheaper. I splurged and got the Sunoco because it was on my side of the road and I know the guy. It took exactly 9 gallons to fill it so I just blew away 18 cents.
