From a buyers perspective the KJ fit into a spot were I dont really see many or any other vehicles fitting in to. It is smaller than the 4door wrangler, bigger than the 2 door. Its not as off road oriented, so it feels better on road. But it still has good off road abilities so its better than the competition from other companies that offer a comperable sized suv like a rav4 or a crv or something...i actually dont know what competition there really was for the kj...i guess the biggest was the ford escape?
You're probably right. Even then those are independent suspension all around.
